2015 Goods for Good a Great Success

The 7th annual Goods for Good, a Northfield citywide garage sale event to benefit charities, was a huge success, raising over $31,000 for various charities. With Goods for Good, everyone benefits … Charities get much needed money to fund their programs and operations … individual donors hosting sales can give larger donations that could be out of their ordinary budgets … donors of “goods” can convert unwanted goods into a tax-deductible charitable donation … low-income residents can shop the sales for needed goods at prices they can afford … and unwanted goods get recycled instead of ending up in the landfill. If you missed out this year, plan on participating next year the weekend after Mother’s Day.
