MLK Day of Service

January 17, 2022 marks a National Day of Service for Americans. You can honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by signing up to volunteer for a local, regional or national organization to improve our communities. The day should be considered “a day on, not a day off”

At Northfield Shares, our community foundation, inspiring volunteerism is central to our mission. We connect individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities through the free platform, the Volunteer HUB. Likewise, the HUB is a free resource for area nonprofits to recruit volunteers.

Consider bringing people together to create and register your own project, or by donating to a cause or nonprofit organization of your choice.

Northfield Shares’ Volunteer Hub can help you find an opportunity that fits your interest area.
