What is a fund?
A fund is a separate , defined pool of resources that exists as a component part of Northfield Shares. Donors can designate how the grants are to be directed from said fund, or be part of a larger “General Community Fund” where the proceeds (spendable amount based on the Spending Policy of the Foundation) are used to meet the needs of the community as determined by the Northfield Shares Grants Committee & Board of Directors.
