We’re Hiring! Education and Engagement Manager

Position Summary

This part-time position supports Northfield Shares, Our Community Foundation by way of educating and engaging our community, donors, fund holders and grantees.  The work will be guided by the strategic plan of the organization, board of directors and executive director.

Roles:

  • Create and incorporate educational, engagement, and annual fundraising efforts on behalf of the Foundation.
  • Lead and create external communication strategies to Our Community via all marketing channels including but not limited to social media, website, and e-newsletters.
  • Oversee and support the educational and engagement and grant committees.
  • Other duties as they are assigned (including but not limited to, board and office support)

Position Requirements & Preferences 

  • Willing to learn about Community Foundation work and apply to this role.
  • Post-secondary degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree or higher a plus.
  • Strong writing, computer, organizational and people skills.
  • Experience in Canva or other creative platforms
  • Creative, able to work independently, within objective of project and/or program and organization.
  • Experience with social media preferred (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Fundraising experience a plus

Position Details

  • 20-25 hours/week
  • $22-25/hour (Depending Upon Qualifications)
  • Some weekend/weeknight work is needed and will be part of weekly hours
  • Reports to Executive Director
  • Must maintain confidentiality of information.
