Northfield Shares A Dinner

In just a few days, thousands of Northfielders will gather to prepare, cook, volunteer, serve, dine, provide entertainment and participate in the myriad of activities offered and coordinated by others, not to mention all the local farmers who have been busy with crops that will become “farm to table”

August 25th is more than just dining together!

We are excited to have a fabulous musical line-up and art activities for everyone to enjoy…….whether you have a reservation at the table or not!  From 4-5:30 Division Street and Bridge Square will be teeming with fun activities to partake in.  Listen to local musicians, tell your story in the Wandering House, create an original poem for one of the Poetry Trees, or help create a community mural.

A few reminders:

  • If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend the dinner (starting at 5:30 pm), please let us know ASAP by emailing northfieldsharesadinner@gmail.com with your name and number of seats you no longer need.
  • All seats will be assigned.  If you registered on the same order you will be seated together, if there are others you would like to be seated with please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • If you are bringing a young child to the dinner we WILL NOT have booster seats available.  If you need a booster seat please arrange to bring one to the event.
  • All food and drink will be provided, therefore no outside drink containers or coolers will be allowed in to the event area.

Where will the event take place?

The dinner will be downtown on Division Street.
There will be various entry points for the event.
More information will be provided when you register.

How do I register for the event?

We will have online registration available starting July 1st from the front page of the Northfield Shares website at www.northfieldshares.org.
Everyone who would like a seat at the table will need to register so seats and food quantities are prepared appropriately.

How many people can I register?

The largest group you can register is 16 people per transaction, but if your group is larger than 16, simply make two or more reservations.

Can children attend?

Yes, children are welcome.
Use your best judgement for young children as there will not be any highchairs or booster seats available.

What is the ticket price?

Through the generosity of community members the meal is free and open to the public.

Everyone! We want to inspire and create an experience that connects a variety of community members.
We want to gather as many people as we can to provide opportunities for celebrating old friends as well as making new ones.

What happens if it rains?

Registrants will be contacted via email if changes are made with instructions of where to go in the event of inclement weather and posted on the Northfield Shares website.

What is on the menu?

Smoked meats, salads made from fresh local vegetables, and fresh baked bread.

What if I have a food allergy?

Most of the food will be gluten free. Food will not be prepared in a facility without nuts.
